Julius Caesar was born on July 13, 100 B.C and died on March 15, 44 B.CCaesar was born into the senate. He was also the nephew of the famous general, Gaius Marius.
Caesar became a military tribune and then quaestor of a Roman province in 69 B.C.. One year later he became the governor of Spain. Eventually he got elected a senior Roman consul.
Caesar made several brilliant campaigns to conquer and stabilize the region. Caesar as produced several lavished games which endeared him to the public.
Caesar made several changes in the public that made him very popular in the lower classes like reducing government debt, granting Roman citizenship to people in Rome's far-flung territories, reforming the Roman tax codes.
Caesar then spent some years wiping out the rest on Pompey’s supporters and was then named dictator of Rome for ten years. Then he made several changes to the lower classes.
After Julius Caesar declared himself a dictator for life, fearing he would become king, a group of senators conspired to end his life. And on March 15, 44 B.C, the group of senators stabbed him 23 times, thus ending his reign and life.
