  • Odysseus goes about his daily life as king and farmer.

  • Menelaus calls for men to help him take back his wife, Helen.

  • Odysseus feigns lunacy by sowing his fields with salt and hooking the wrong animals to his plow.
  • 6:00
  • Because of Palamedes’ intervention, Odysseus exposes his brilliance by stopping his plow from hitting his son.
  • Odysseus boards his ship and heads to Scyros to recruit Achilles, because a prophecy said he was vital to winning the war.
  • Achilles has been disguised by his mother, but Odysseus exposes him by sounding a horn. At the sound of the horn Achilles picks up a weapon, exposing himself.
