Scene 1: The three haggard women, the witches (The Weird Sisters), debate about where they will meet Macbeth to confront him, but after the battle.
Scene 2: An injured messenger tells King Duncan about the news at Macdonwald. He also informs King Duncan about Malcolm and Macbeth's courageous, fearless acts and the battle. In result King Duncan makes Macbeth Thane of Cawdor.
Scene 3: Macbeth and Banquo encounter the three witches. They apprise Macbeth that he will be Thane of Cawdor and that Banquo's children will be kings. They give Macbeth a prophecy and he wonders if it will come true. Ross and angus arrive to tell him he is the Thane of Cawdor.
Scene 4: The Old Thane of Cawdor admits to being a traitor and confesses to his crimes and he is then executed. Duncan appreciates Macbeth's deeds during the battle. King duncan names his son, Malcolm his successor.
Scene 5: Lady Macbeth (Macbeth wife) receives a letter from Macbeth about the witches prophecies. She's a bit befuddled, but she tells Macbeth to do whatever it takes for him to be King. Duncan goes to the house later that night for dinner.
Scene 6: King Duncan comes over, Lady Macbeth serves them with her nice hospitality and they have dinner.
