  • When marketing information management comes in place, Maalika's Perfumery asked our customers what new kind of perfume they want and based off their answers they are looking for something that is located near to the city. They are most likely to buy our perfume year round if we are not out. They want our product because they are into something new and strong but at the same time its valuable and doesn't cost much. Our customers are middle aged but we will be able to attract teens also, because of the price.

  • Every week our product management team holds a meeting to discuss our customers and what they would like to see soon. From that meeting we learned that our customers are satisfied by our product and there is one particular product that they love which is COACH New York. They also wanted us to come out with a new line in the future that may include jewelry and purses. All our products whether bought in the store or online, it comes packaged in a black gift bag wrapped with a pink bow.

  • Our company manufactures perform for $30 a bottle and sell them for $65. We dont plan to increase our price because then our customers wont buy our product. There are always savings for anyone that joins our rewards program throughout the year.

  • For Maalika's Perfumery, promotion is a big deal. We want our old and new customers to stay on top of all of your products and future products. In that way we have signs in and out the store to inform our customers about upcoming product lines. We also have billboards on highways and streets to advertise to our customers. At the current moment we are working on tv commercials to be displayed for those who don’t own a car.

  • Distribution is a very important process for our store. Without products we won’t be able to sell anything to our customers. Each Monday we have a truck that comes in with our supplies from the warehouse so in that way we can stock up our products.

  • When selling perfumes from Maalika’s Perfumery, interaction with our customers are a very important part of our function. Since we carry many different types of brands, we have to ensure that the customers can come in and sample our products any time and solve any of their problems. If they are satisfied we are satisfied.
