In the Southwest the weather in most parts are blistering hot in the summer, but in the winter, in some parts they can get snow. But other places in the Southwest don't get snow.
Most tribes in the SouthWest believed in spirits called Kachinas. They prayed to the Kachinas for rain, for their crops to grow. They also did ceremonies "hozho" and asked the gods for rain
Most of the SouthWest tribes hunt for small Desert animals such as, rabbits, wild turkeys, and snakes. They also ate desert plants such as prickly pears and berries. Most boys go hunting with their fathers. Some Southwest tribes use a method called dry farming.
