Part 1 of how lady Macbeth failed
Lead the way to Macbeth. He is a good man and me and my people love him.
Lady Macbeth believes that she is succeeding because she has convinced the king to come and stay with them for a night. (Paraphrased from page 342 lines 25-45)
You may keep your servants with you my king and I hope you enjoy the party.
We will not talk about killing King Duncan. He has spoken highly of me and many people have noticed me because of it. His love for me shouldn't be forgotten so easily.
Lady Macbeth has to convince her husband to kill the king because now he has cold feet. (Paraphrased from page 334 lines 32-45)
Are you a coward. You were told you'd be king. But to do so you must take what is rightfully yours.
Lady Macbeth is mad because Macbeth is feeling terrible for killing King Duncan. She does succeed in making him no longer feeling terrible. (Paraphrased from page 368 lines 5-24)
We will forever feel guilt. Well always be afraid that well get caught for what we have done.
You shouldn't think about what we just did. What's done is done there is no going back now.
