Hello, my name is Henry T. Oswald. Let me tell you a story of a journey I once took, and am still taking today.
Long ago, I used to live in the reservoir next to a volcano in Pompeii. One day, I heard people scream, “Curro!”.
I evaporated through conduction because the lava landed on me and turned me into water vapor.
I went up into the sky higher and higher until I could not see the city anymore. I yelled, “Vale!” to my friends behind me.
Then I got stuck in a cumulus cloud and started drifting away. Five days later, the cloud seemed to get heavier and darker as more vapor attached itself to the cloud.
One day, I started to condense into a rain droplet, saying to myself, “relinquo” and precipitated.
