Storyboard Description

In the rising action of the short story “Three Skeleton Key” written by George G. Toulouse, the rats have climbed on the sides of a light house. One of the windows that the rats gnawed through, gave way and some rats got in. They chase the three men up the stairs, and the men are trying to shoo them off by stabbing them with knives. Le Gleo's mind is "going fast" as it says in the text. They try to signal land as soon as possible. Then they use the light to blind the rats so they were blinded and fell off of the tower.

  • Itchoua thinks to use the light to blind the rats, making them fall off of the light tower. This helps a bit but for every three that fall, ten crowd back on the window.
