This storyboard does not have a description.
Elie lived with his father, mother, and sister in Sighet.
Gestapos forced them out of their home and into a ghetto.
The Gestapos came and took them saying they were going to a safe place. They ended up being stuffed in cattle carts; by the hundreds and taken to Auschwitz.
Elie's mother and sister were immediately sent to a gas chamber and killed. Elie and his father were spared and lived at many different camps throughout their stay.
Men prayed for their freedom. The only way out, was death. Elie stayed with his father almost always. Until his father, died from being beaten in the head and from dysentery.
After the war, when Elie was released, he almost died from food poisoning but luckily lived. He wrote this book to let everyone know about the horrors of the Holocaust and the Nazis.
