French Revolution cartoon

Hello there my name is Maximus. I was one of the King Louis XVI horses during the French Revolution. It was a crazy time of war... you know what let me just take you back through the story.
Ahh... the palace of Versailles a real swell place or so I hear I live out in the stables. It is home to king Louis XVI and queen Marie Antoinette. They lived a life of luxury behind these walls and did not pay much attention to their people.
The French people were starving living in the old regime system. I was sent often with one of the soldiers to monitor the citizens as they became restless. They wanted more political power. They thought they were finally getting change when the king called the estates general together.
Whoa that is a lot of fire! You are probably wondering what is happening here. This is the Bastille, it is a prison. The 3rd estate or as I should call them now the National assembly just stormed the prison in search of weapons and gunpowder. They were kicked out of the estates general meeting and are now furious for change.
Look at that handsome lad pulling the king and queen's carriage to safety, I will give you a hint that's me. KIng Louis refused to sign the Declaration of the Rights of Man, the National Assembly's constitution ensuring they would get more rights. Now with the growing unrest the royal family is fleeing to Austria.
Alas we never made it to Austria. The royal family was captured and the king and queen were beheaded by the guillotine. Nowadays I hear this guy named Napoleon is ruling due to a coup d'etat. Of course this is after the reign of terror. Such a terrible time I had a major shortage on apples.
