  • Happy Birthday to you!!!
  • *knock* *knock* *knock*
  • Sergeant!! 
  • I hope I'm not too late for presents!
  • A candle? What about that paw you were telling us about?
  • Yeah... It was called the monkey's paw!
  • I got you a candle!
  • It is Mr. White's Birthday today and his wife has arranged for an old friend of his to come visit. The family is singing Happy Birthday. Close up shot on all the family members.
  • This is strange. He never acts like this but he always was sooo dramatic. I can't turn down a gift. From what he told me i could get anything I want. What are a few minor consequences?
  • It is the monkey's paw! You have awoken it and now it is attached to you! TAKE IT! TAKE IT! Before something happens! Only you can burn it now. Please don't use it! I warn you there are terrible consequences. Far worse than death. I have to leave now. Burn it my friend.....
  • The Sergeant has come just in time for cake and presents. Joyful music playing quietly in the background. Close-up shot on sergeant.
  • Yeah like the power to turn back on! Or to pay off our house!
  • Pleae don't burn it father wish for something useful!
  • Two hundred pounds should be enough to pay off the house...
  • I wish for two hundred pounds!
  • After catching up on everything that has happened the Sergeant reveals his gift. Silence as the Sergeant brings out the candle. Dramatic emphasis on the monkey's paw.
  • 200 pounds? No amount of money is worth my son's life.
  • I'm... I'm so sorry, your son he... there was a terrible accident and... at least he is no longer in pain.
  • As compensation we are going to be giving you 200 pounds. 
  • Right after they said the monkey's paw the power went out. Loud music stinger when the lights go out. Crescendo of violins as the Sergeant starts to panic.
  • Mr. White makes his first wish. Close-up shot on Mr. White as he wishes. Dramatic music and a strike of lightning when he says the last word.
  • The next day... Mrs. White notices someone standing outside the door. Sad music as Mr. and Mrs. White drop to their knees.
