This moved the audience because when caeser left his will, it made the people of Rome feel like they can get a new start and they are a part of something.
By Caeser leaving the people of Rome in his will, it shows that he actually cared about them and saw himself as a father figure for them. This makes the people feel wanted which Brutus took away by killing Caeser.
