  • An example of Ethos would be like a famous person doing a commercial on perfume and saying how good it is and how much they use it.
  • Apple Store
  • (Billboard for perfume)
  • And now on to Pathos! It is a form of argument based on emotions. So it pulls the audience in with a certain emotion to get them interested.
  • Apple Store
  • Shelter
  • For example, on tv there are commercials of animal shelters with sad animals to draw in your sympathy to make you want to either donate or go adopt an animal because you feel bad for them.
  • Last but not least, Logos! It is a form of argument based on logic, facts, and figures. So its lots of words and information about a specific thing so you know more about it.
  • An example would be like an ad on an electronic device like a phone and it lists the prices and phone plans so that it gives you an idea on what to look at.
