We are finally doing what the king deserves for treating us this time!
Tax money please.
The Boston Tea Party: A political protest by the sons of liberty, dressed as Mohawk Indians, dumped more than 90,000 pounds of tea into the harbors to anger their king. They did this due to the British Parliament Tea Act of 1773, the tax of tea to the British to came to America.
Get Samuel and John!
The Boston Massacre: When a group of colonists got enraged by taxes, they decided to pelt British Soldiers with snowballs and get the point across that they were angry. After the colonists did this, the British Soldiers went a step further and decided to shoot them with actual rifals and killed 5 people in total.
The Stamp Act: Every American Colonist is being taxed on every letter and print that they printed. They also had to put a stamp on everything and that's where it got it's name.
Lexington and Concord: The first engagement of the America Revolution, in which English Soldiers captured Samuel Adams and John Hancock. In this event, 273 British died while less than 100 colonists did.
Quartering Act: This act forced colonists to house soldiers and require them to provide fuel, candles, beer and transportation. Colonists thought this act was just another way to control them.
The Intolerable Acts: The Intolerable Acts closed down the port of Boston, closed down the Massachusetts government, got Sam Adams very angry, and got the other colonies to back up Massachuetts.
