Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • Conflict
  • Rising Action
  • Manor Farm is a farm run by a man named Mr. Jones. Mr.Jones is drunk most of the time and treats his animals very poorly by starving and abusing them. Old Major, a boar who all the animals look up to, speaks about a dream he had where the animals fight back and run the farm.
  • Climax
  • Old Major died a few days later and then the rebellion started. A cow then went into the food storage to try to get more food and the other animals came in to get food too because Mr. Jones hadn't fed them in days. Mr. Jones then catches them and starts to two whip the cow and the animals rebel. They end up chasing Mr. Jones off and make Manor Farm into Animal farm.
  • Falling Action
  • Jones and other men showed up to the farm to try to take it back from the animals. The animals already had a plan in case this happened. The animals attacked when the men started marching up to the farm and the men attacked back. This went on and then finally the animals scared the men off and they ran away. Both animals and men were injured during the battle.
  • Resolution
  • The Battle of the Windmill occurred and during this Fredrick (another farmer) and other men went to the farm to destroy the windmill. They were trying to do this because the windmill represents all the hard work of the animals. During this battle animals and men were hurt, some animals died. Eventually, the windmill did get destroyed and the animals chased the men away.
  • While the animals are trying to rebuild to windmill Boxer works very hard to help. Boxer works so hard and eventually falls because of his work. When he falls the animals tell Napoleon and he says he called a surgeon to come pick Boxer up. A van eventually comes to pick up Boxer but Benjamin is the only animal that knows it is a van for a slaughterhouse and when he tells the other animals it's too late and Boxer is already taken away, and he is eventually killed.
  • The pigs begin to act exactly how humans do, they wear clothes, drink beer, and walk around with whips. They do all the things that the animals didn't like Mr. Jones doing.
