The Creation of Friendship Bracelets
This storyboard does not have a description.
Once upon a time long ago there was a land of fairies called fairy-land. There were thousands of fairies that lived there. Each fairy had a different color of hair. There were many colors of hair like purple, blue, green, orange and more. The hair color is inherited.
Each day the fairies hair sheds. The colorful hair flies through the air. In fairy-land there are all kinds of trees. There are also many forests. As the hair flies through the air it attaches onto a hook.
Each kind of tree depends on what pattern the bracelet will have. The chevron tree makes a chevron patterned bracelet. The heart tree makes a bracelet with a heart pattern. The basic tree makes a basic friendship bracelet. The Chinese tree makes a Chinese staircase bracelet. The braided tree makes a braided bracelet.
It is normally very windy in fairy-land. As the fairy hair blows through and gets attached to the hook the wind blows the hair around and knots form. The knots follow the pattern of whatever tree they are on. It takes about a day to make each bracelet. When the bracelets are done they fall on the ground like leaves.
In fairy-land it is typical for friends to go walk through the forest. One day two fairies, Friend and Ship realized they could give each other the bracelets. They both searched and picked out bracelets for each other. The bracelets were given to each other and they figured they should call the bracelets "Friendship" bracelets. Then they shared the bracelets with others and it has been continued for many generations.
