  • The setting is at a horse barn, where there is a lot of people sitting in chairs, around an arena set with jumps for the horses, with a white fence around it. The characters will be introduced as Lisa talks to them.
  • (suspenseful) rising action
  • The main conflict of my story is going to be if Lisa is going to qualify for the nationals in the competition, and she might not be able to.
  • The Climax
  • The events that will draw the reader in is when she is going through her course, and she doesn't know is she did well enough to qualify for the finals in the competition. The conflict will develop when Lisa goes into the arena to perform her routine for the judges.
  • The resolution
  • The event that will be adding suspense to my story is when Lisa messes up up in her course, and she doesn't know if she is going to qualify for nationals. The conflict will evolve when Lisa messes up in the horse show and might not make it to the nationals.
  • The turning point of the story will be when everybody is lined up with their horses and the riders, and the judges are announcing all of the finalists, there is only one more name left, and it is Lisa's.
  • The story will end with Lisa and her horse walking away from the arena and meeting her family and celebrating with them. The theme might be hard work pays off because Lisa worked really hard and she got her dream.
