Storyboard Text

  • Step 1 - They take first a crooked piece of iron, and with it draw out the brain through the nostrils , while the skull is cleared of the rest by rinsing with drugs.
  • Step  2 - They then make a cut in the back left side of the body near the stomach. They remove all of the internal organs and then let them air dry. After the internal organs have dried they are placed in four different jars. They then place the heart back into the body and rinse the clean body with wine spices .
  • Step  3 - The body is then covered in salt and placed out to dry for forty days. After the forty days the body is stuffed to maintain a more human-like form. It is then washed and the internal organs being placed back in the body. The body is wrapped with thin strips of linen and the finishing touches in between layers.
