Storyboard Text

  • exposition
  • how am i going to tell her i don't want to be friends anymore?
  • inciting incident
  • YOU'RE OVERREACTING!
  • rising action
  • Lily and Mary had been friends for years and from the outside there friendship seemed to be almost perfect.  But it was far from perfect. Mary was not a good friend at all; she was a toxic person who was fake to everybody. The problem Lily was having was she did not want to make Mary an enemy. Lily didn't know how to bring up the conversation to Mary without her getting mad. She planned to do it before school started to get it out of the way.
  • climax
  • When Lily got to school she immediately went to find Mary to talk things out. She finds Mary hanging out with girls that she was talking about just a few days ago, which got Lily even more mad. This is a prime example of what Lily has a problem about. Lily calls her over and they begin to talk. She expresses how fake she thinks Mary is and how their friendship is not a true bond. This upsets  Mary because she does not see anything wrong with what they have and thinks that Lily is overreacting.
  • falling action
  • Mary does not really care what Lily has to say, so she asks if their conversation is over so she could get to  class. Lily sees that they are not going to see eye to eye with anything and decides she just has to go with plan B. She exclaims that they cant be friends anymore. They never did truly have a real friendship, but they spent a lot of time with each other, and had lots of memories. Mary is caught off guard with this because she never thought that Lily would actually go through with ending it.
  • resolution
  • Mary is mad at what Lily did to her because she blinded to what she was really doing to her. She thought they had a  good healthy friendship.  So to get back at her for what she did , she thought of an insidious plan of putting a paint bomb in her locker so that when she opens it, paint would splatter all over her. She wants lily to feel the pain she is feeling , that will make Mary feel better. Lily will be embarrassed after what happens to her and she will come crawling back to Mary; or that's she hopes will happen.
  • After class ends lily heads to her locker to get what she needs for later. She goes to open it, and red paint comes flying at her face. She then hears roars of laughter from behind her. Low and behold its Mary. Now this gets Lily mad because this is why she didn't want  to be friends with her in the first place. They soon start yelling at each other saying how upset they are, when it clicks in Mary's mind that maybe what she thought they had was not really real. She sees how this could be a good thing for both of them to grow as people and to become better.
  • Mary and Lily had grown apart in their own ways. They never did talk to one another after the argument they had in the hallways that day, but maybe it was for the better. They were better off on their own, they made each other toxic. What they had was a little thing to keep as memorizes. They grew up and they became beautiful woman with lovely families and never thought of each other ever again.
