  • Columbus first became a sailor in the Mediterranean in his twenties, and then settled in Portugal after he was shipwrecked off that coast in 1476. He imagined a faster route to Asia, so he decided to go on a mission and find it himself.

  • We will give you a quarter of the profit you find and bring back to to Portugal.
  • Christopher attempts to convince the king and queen of spain, who later gave in to the idea.
  • We will give the all equipment for the journey.
  • Columbus set of west in order to find a faster route to India, so he took three ships, the Nina, the Pinta, and the Santa Maria. 
  • The ships traveled for days in search of Asia, it was a relentless journey, as people were struggling due to food shortages and more.

  • Columbus soon reached India, or at least what he thought it was. What he did not not know was that there was land separating Asia from Europe, and that was the Americas, but he did not know that. He colonized a tortured the people there, forcing them to do work or convert to Christianity.
  • Columbus's legacy stays on as he was responsible for Columbus Exchange, and big moment in history, and new lands to invade. Now Europe had a new places to get resources and gold, making Columbus a huge part in history. Showing Europe almost half of the unknown world. New spread of culture, animals food diseases, all thanks to on man.
