the burning of our house july 10th, 1666 write by: Anne Bradstreet project: Madison Cox reader: Mr.Richerds and class
Anne Bradstreet had woke up to a fire, in her house. she hears someone out side saying "fire! fire!"
fires were very common around the 16th century because their houses were not made the best and they had open flames, from candles or the kitchen.
Anne Bradstreet is now reflecting to god. and blessing gods name. Anne Bradstreet was first upset but soon had brushed it off. Anne had a lot of faith.
Anne Bradstreet had seen that her old chest and the rest of her burnt down house.
Anne Bradstreet had reflected once more on the tragedy that had taken place of her home and still thanked god above.
i have decided to end the story with Anne Bradstreet dying because everyone dies at some point and why not.
