  • The Storming of the Bastille July 14,1789

  • The Decree Abolishing the Feudal System, August 4, 1789
  • We work hard and deserve land!
  • The Third Estate got tired of being the only estate paying for the taxes, so they created the National Assembly saying that all people are equal.
  • The Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen, August 27, 1789
  • The Third Estate attacked Bastille because they wanted the gunpowder and it stood for the nobility of the King. The King no longer had he respect from the French people because of all the laws and taxes he had against them.
  • The Women's March on Versailles, October 5th-6th, 1789
  • We want to same laws and rights as men! WE WANT TO BE EQUAL!
  • The National Assembly wanted to abolish the Feudal system because they no longer wanted peasants and workers to received land for working for the King.
