I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU JUST SHOT OUR DAUGHTER CADY!! LEAVE AND NEVER COME BACK!!!!!

When She Hit Her Head
Cady Sinclair's mother and her father have been drifting apart for the past couple of years. One night when her father was leaving for a business, he pulled a gun on Cady and shot her. The narrator doesn't give a clear explanation to why her father would do this.
Cady went out for a swim while the Sinclairs were at Beechwood for the summer. She by herself at midnight. She can't remember if she just hit her head on a rock or if someone intentionally hit her. Which now becomes one of many main conflicts.
