On page 5 in Act 1 Scene, Flavius and Marullus go to the capitol to destroy decorations on the statue of Caesar. This shows how these two men don't believe that Caesar deserves praise.
Brutus is afraid that the people will want Caesar to be their leader, and Cassius is using faulty logic to try and convince Brutus that Caesar is not fit for king by telling a story about Caesar almost drowning.
There is a series of terrible weather going on, and Cassius claims that his actions have nothing to do with the weather because he is a very honest man; moreover, he believes that the heavy storms are a sign from the gods bearing bad news.
