  • You're a bunburyist.
  • I am not. 
  • Ill just kill my brother, you should do the same with your friend. 
  • Wheres Earnest? 
  • Algy is explaining the rules of bunburying to Jack and yet Jack denies being a bunburyist. page 9, Act 1
  • Do I eat the cucumber sandwiches? 
  • Jack Explains that if Gwendolen will take his hand in marriage he will kill off his imaginary brother and advises Algy to do the same.  page 10 Act 1
  • You're not even married yet.
  • Lady Bracknell and Gwendolen show up to the house and Algy has ordered cucumber sandwiches for Lady Bracknell and bread and butter for Gwendolen. page 11 Act 1
  • I love you.
  • Jack contemplates whether he should eat the cucumber sandwiches or the bread and butter. Algy says he is the only one who could eat the cucumber sandwiches because he is related to Lady Bracknell. page 12 act 1
  • Jack is excited about bread and butter and Algy says he is acting as if he is married to Gwendolen already. page 17 Act 1
  • Jack tells Gwen how he has admired her from day one and proposes. However, Lady Bracknell doesn't approve. She starts to say how he is appalled Jack doesn't have parents and insists Gwen and her leave. Page 17 Act 1
