  • Hi, my name is George.
  • THE BUNKHOUSE IS ALL GEORGE KNOWS
  • This is my bunkhouse
  • GEORGES STRENGTH IS HIS LOYALTY TO LENNIE
  • I am always looking out for Lennie.
  • "Guys like us, that work on ranch's, are the loneliest guys. They got no family. They don't belong no place. " (13)
  • GEORGE SAVES LENNIE AGAIN
  • "The bunkhouse was a long, rectangular building. Inside, the walls were white washed and the floors unpainted " (17).
  • GEORGE TELLS A STORY 
  • George keeps Lennies hopes alive 
  • "He's my...cousin. I told his old lady I'd take care of him. He got kicked in the head by a horse when he was a little kid. He's awright. Just ain't bright. But he can do anything you tell him (22).
  • THE SURVIVOR IN GEORGE
  • "He don't have to take after Lennie. Lennie didn't do nothing to him. What's he got against Lennie" (26).
  • Curley is gonna get hurt if he messes with Lennie.
  • "O.K. Someday- we're gonna get the jack together and we're gonna have a little house and a couple of acres an a cow and some pigs and life off the fat of the land" (14).
  • "We gotta stay," George said shortly. "shut up now. The guys will be coming in" (33).
  • I know how to protect Lennie and us him to our advantage.
