Sara did everything with Sue. They always say together on the bus. They laughed together and shared secrets together. Sara had so much fun with Sue. There was one problem though. Sara wanted to be one of the cool kids. They all ate lunch together.
Sara knew that Sue would not be interested. So Sara would just have to leave her friend behind. She decided to join those kids on her own.
Is that okay if I eat lunch at your table?
Sure have a seat.
Who saw Robins World on tv last night? I loved it when Robin dumped spaghetti on her little brothers head. It was hysterical.
Sarah was really at the cool table. The other kids started talking. She wanted to join in.
That was a an awesome bball game last night. I kept blocking your shots Jenna. I am the champ!
Once again Sarah had nothing to say. She and Sue didn't wear nail polish. They liked to braid each others hair.
Sarah didn't have anything to say. She and Sue would watch Loopy Lane and Sarah didn't like basketball. Then Jenna started talking about nail polish.
I did my thumbs in Pink. See? Then did three of my fingers in red. Finally my pinkies in yellow. I didn't even know yellow nail polish existed.
I even knew that.
Hi Sue I really want apologize because..
Sarah decided she would go back to eating lunch with Sue. The cool table just wasn't for her.
That's right. Now I see that I should have stayed with my real friend. Thanks for being so...
... you thought you'd be happier at the cool table, but you
...forgiving. Well there's a whole bunch of stuff that I can't wait to tell you.
Sarah learned her lesson. She and Sue were happy to be back together.
