War on Two Fronts, script for the short film
The soldiers who fought in World War II are often called the "Greatest Generation," however, black soldiers are rarely considered as members of this group. During this time of racial segregation, black soldiers persevered on both the home front and the battle front. They fought against discrimination and the Axis powers, yet their contributions remain unheralded and their valor overlooked. Despite this lack of recognition, black soldiers of the Greatest Generation contributed greatly to the war effort and then became foot soldiers in the civil rights movement. This is a story of a War on Two Fronts.
