Just to be safe I've brought your sister Ismene here for execution as well as I've seen reason to think she was involved in this
No! She is innocent! this is my crime and mine alone!
After Being captured by a trap set up by the Sentry, Antigone is escorted by the Sentry To inform Creon that she was the one to bury Polyneices.
Haemon Confronts Creon
Father You should not kill Antigone! If anything she should be rewarded for her bravery
After being confronted by her uncle Creon, Antigone confesses to her crimes against the state knowing that she will be most likely put to death for her actions. Knowing this she still shows no remorse.
Creon states his plan to kill both of the sisters as he suspects that Ismene helped Antigone carry out her crime. Antigone and Ismene are shocked but accept their fates... Creon then has them leave the room.
Antigone is jailed...
Haemon voices his concerns to his father Creon about killing Antigone, This mostly has to do with the fact that Antigone and Haemon are engaged.
Why can't you just be an obedient son to your own father...
Creon decides to spare Ismene and makes a plan to trap Antigone in a vault in the forest with little food and water. He decides that if she can escape then the gods are on her side and she is not meant to die.
Antigone is trapped in the vault and must now decide her next course of action to escape...
