  • Hey! I heard you took my lunch at work today!
  • Look, I hear ya out but I didn't take your lunch Steve., but I'll hear ya out and buy you lunch.
  • This doesn't change anything!
  • How was that Steve? Did our conflict disappear yet?
  • Eh, I do feel kind of better but I am still angry from you taking my favorite pen!
  • Right now Steve and Joe are having a conflict. Joe uses his listening skills to allow Joe to vent.
  • This isn't about the food and pen, what are you mad about?
  • Maybe your right....
  • Steve tries to diffuse the conflict by taking his mind off something...
  • No problem bro, it is always important to hear someone out as it always help defuse conflicts! Now lets go celebrate that birthday party!
  • You forgot about my birthday, but i'm not even that mad anymore due to you hearing me out and listening. You were able to resolve a conflict without even aruging back! You were really supportive and for that I thank you!
