On manor farm, there was a mean drunken farmer named Mr. Jones. The animals on his farm were tortured and abused by Mr. Jones and his men often times did not feed them. There was a meeting held by Old Major an old pig he spoke about rebellion against Mr. Jones and his men.
Soon after old Majors speech of rebellion he died and the leaders of the farm became Napoleon and Snowball. Throughout the story Napoleon and snowballs Conflict grew, they would contradict each other on small things such as food and big things like making windmills. They held an election, but who won?
The animals were hungry one day because they were not fed by Mr. Jones or his men. The animals were so hungry that they started banging on the shed door with food in it they opened it and began to eat. Mr. Jones and his men ran out of the house and tried to stop them, but the animals attacked them and charged at them so they ran away.
Napoleon begins to fear that snowball will win the election that is being held so he sends his dogs to chase him out of Animal Farm. Now Napoleon is the leader he now has control over the entire animal farm.
As Napoleon continues to be the leader he breaks many rules including the original seven commandments. The pigs start living in the house, eating human food, and drinking alcohol. While the pigs live in the luxury of the house the rest of the animals live outside, this shows inequality. Also whenever anything wrong would happen it would be blamed on Snowball.
Animals are no longer equal. The pigs are beginning to take on human qualities like walking upright. As the animals gaze at pigs and humans, they realize they can no longer tell the two apart.
