Hey uh....could you guys hurry it up?
The North had more farms than the South providing more food for the troops as well as containing most of the iron, coal, copper, and gold.
Because the North was more industrialized, there were lots of railroads and trains. They provided quick transportation of men, equipment, horses, and medical supplies.
The North industrialized faster than the South because of their direct access to waterways. The North had better railroads and many other technological advances that helped them win the war. On the otherhand, the South is focused on agriculture which can't win you a war when the other side is producing equipment and material at a way faster rate.
