In March 1985 Clive developed an influenza type illness which included headache and fever. He was diagnosed with HSVE and was given life saving medication but the virus had already destroyed large parts of his brain.
In October 1985 Clive was refered to Barbra Wilson and it was found that he was experiencing extremely severe episodic memory deflicts meaning he struggeled with memories of places, events and people. He wwas also unable to create new meomries and recall details before the illness.
In November 1985, Clive was assessed on his verbal performance and his IQ he was found to be in the average range.
1991 Clive had his first MRI scan. 3 experts all agreed that he had hippocampus damage and other areas like the left fornix and theleft medical frontal cornex
He was given a second MRI scan in 2006.
Over 21 years clive has had numerous experiments.
