Storyboard Text

  • The Secret Meeting
  • Old Major's Plan
  • Why thank you for all meeting me here!
  • Who Should be Trusted?
  • Whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy.Whatever goes upon four legs, or has wings, is a friend. No animal shall wear clothes. No animal shall sleep in a bed. No animal shall drink alcohol. No animal shall kill any other animal. All animals are equal.
  •  It was late at night and Mr Jones had locked the henhouses for the night but forgot about the other animals due to being so drunk. Fortunately, word had gone around Old Major had an important dream. It was agreed everybody should meet in the wooden barn after Mr Jones was asleep.
  • Old Major's Important Dream
  • Old Major began by saying about how he was getting old and may not be with the farm for much longer. He shares his opinion of the farm and explains how they are only fed the bare minimum to make saleable produce. Stating, "No animal in England knows the meaning of happiness or leisure after they are a year old". He concludes the only way to stop  farming to rebel against mankind and fight for what they truly deserve.
  • Happiness All Around
  • After all the animals agreed humans were an enemy, it needed to be decided who could be trusted. Finally, the animals agreed: four legs good, two legs bad. As well as this, seven commandments were made that each and every animal had to follow as listed above.
  • The Gunshot
  • After the rebellion plan was mulled over once again, Old Major explained his dream to the animals. It went something like this, it was about how the world would be when they conquered mankind.  However, it wasn't just about that - this reminded him of an old song his mother used to sing and the other boars.
  • This song made all the animals burst with joy. Even before Old Major finished the song the other animals were joining in singing the chorus. Even the dumber animals had picked up some lyrics whereas the smarter animals, such as the dogs and pigs knew the song off by heart within a few minutes!  The song was sung five times in unison before...
  • The volume the animals were singing at alarmed Mr Jones and awoke him. Immediately, he sprung out of bed - grabbed his trustworthy gun and stood in the corner of his bedroom and shot a bullet into the sky. The animals knew if they didn't make their way back to there pen, things would not end well.
