Adam lived at the beginning of time, in the garden of Eden, with Eve. He was made in the image of god and Hawwa (eve) was created from his ribs.
Ibrahim-when he lived
He was a prophet until death, he taught the revelations to his sons, about the work of Iblis and how to protect themselves from Jinn and that life on Earth was temporary.
Ibrahim-Why he was important to Muslims
He was the first Muslim and the father of all humankind. Allah showed him forgiveness, which showed Muslims that they can be forgiven. He also built the Ka'aba.
Ibrahim-what he accomplished
Ibrahim lived in Ur in Mesopotamia in about 1900BCE.
He preached in public even though people ridiculed him and he also went into their temples and destroyed all of the idols except for one, that he blamed for the crime.
He fulfilled all the commandments and trials wherein God nurtured him throughout his lifetime. As a result of his unwavering faith in God, Ibrahim was promised by God to be a leader to all the nations of the world. The Quran extols Ibrahim as a model, an exemplar, obedient and not an idolater.
