Evidence 1: All of Charlie's neighbors start to chase him and throw rocks. Then Charlie deicdes to blame Tommy.
Theme: Don't blame others for what you don't know.
Evidence 2: Everyone starts to yell and accuse others. " It's Bob Weavers house!" screamed a man. "It isn't Bob weavers house its Don's place." exclaimed a woman.
Evidence 3: Two monsters go back into their UFO . One of them states "suspicion can destroy."
After reading The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street I decided on the theme don't blame others for what you don't know. In evidence one it supports my theme because it is a scene of Charlie blaming Tommy. Charlie does not want people to be mad at him so he thinks that blaming someone else will help him. Evidence two supports my theme because it has two characters accusing who they think is the monster. Only because they saw someones lights go on or something else that happened that seem suspicious. Lastly, in evidence three the monsters stated, "suspicion can destroy." That quote shows why you don't want to blame others for what you don't know. So make sure not to point fingers at others because you may not know the whole real story and may be wrong.
