  • Six teenage, Bosnian assassins vow to murder Ferdinand.
  • Ferdinand met the first assassin, Mehmedbasic, at 10:15; however, Mehmedbasic got scared and ran away.
  • The next assassin was afraid like Mehmedbasic. As the car passed him he threw a bomb at it then fled into the river. Ferdinand escaped but many civilians were severly injured
  • Ferdinand then decided to visit some of the injured civilians. It was during this time that it was decide they should take a new route to avoid any more assassins.
  • Unfortunately, the change in route wasn't corectly explained to the driver. This coursed him to make a wrong turn, leaving them vulnerable to Bosnian assassin Gavrilo Princip. This was the triger clause for World War 1.
