We Love Land!
The Oregon Trail was a very long trail that people took when traveling. This trail stretched over about 2,000 miles and it went through six different states.
It was pretty dangerous to travel on the Oregon Trail. This was but because of a horrible disease that killed many settlers. Wagons and Oxen were used for their belongings. They didn't have much space, so they only took the basics with them.
People were traveling west to Oregon mainly because they had a desire for land and they were excited to set up their new homes and farms.
