  • Excellent question! After our class discussion on the process in step five, steps six and seven will include my assessment of your work.
  • And how will we be graded? Everyone's story board will be different.
  • The goal of story boarding isn't to have a perfect creation, but to be able to explain the fundamentals of the text we are working with. 
  • As Isikndogan & Kargin's (2010) research proves, providing concrete textual information and analysis through the story board demonstrates mastery.
  • Is there anything else we need to know to be successful in this story boarding activity?
  • I appreciate the direct approach Ms. Hicks is implementing. I really feel like through story mapping I'll be able to express myself.
  • Tomorrow we'll start our storyboarding unit and by the end of four weeks, just as the mentioned research study, you will see story mapping have a positive impact on your academics and your lives!
  • Just remember that though Isikndogan & Kargin's study included 28 students and we have a lot less, positive reading comprehension is possible for all of you! 
  • Yeah. I can't wait to see what the Read Aloud Test and Teacher Interview Form Ms. Makayla was talking about, too!
