Storyboard Text

  • The Thought of Marriage
  • Marriage is an honor I do not dream about.
  • Love at First Sight
  • You kiss very well.
  • If Only
  • Oh Romeo, Romeo!
  • "I'll look at him, if that's all it takes to love. But I will only look as much as I have to, because you want me to" (Act 1, Scene 3).  This is significant because when she meets Romeo everything about marriage changes.
  • The Happy Couple
  • You are now husband and wife!
  • "Yes. We must use our lips to pray" (Act 1, Scene 5). This is significant because it was like love at first sight.
  • Banishment
  • Oh Romeo! Why?
  • "Wherefore art thou Romeo? Deny your father Montague, refuse your name" (Act 2, Scene 2). This is significant because Romeo and Juliet's love is so strong it can't be broken with just a name.
  • Death in a Bottle
  • This is for you Romeo!
  • "My true love is so great that I cannot add it up with words" (Act 2, Scene 6). This is significant because Juliet knows she can't tell her parents about her marrige with Romeo but she does it anyway.
  • "Tybalt's death is sad enough, if it ended there. But Romeo is banished!" (Act 3, Scene 2). This is significant because this is when Romeo is banished from Verona and they start to make a plan to be together.
  • "Stay Tybalt, stay! Romeo I come to you! I drink this for you!" (Act 4, Scene 3). This is significant because Juliet's fake dealth was the reason Romeo killed himself. Which resulted in Juliets death in the end.
