Storyboard Text

  • Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,  Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
  • And so faintly you came tapping, tapping at my chamber door,  That I scarce was sure I heard you"- here I opened wide the door;-                  Darkness there, and nothing more.
  • Tell me what thy lordly name is on the Night's Plutonian shore!
  • "Nevermore."
  • This I sat engaged in guessing, but no syllable expressing  To the fowl whose fiery eyes now burned into my bosom's core                 She shall press, ah, nevermore!
  • "Prophet!" said I, "thing of evil! - prophet still, if bird or devil! -                   Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore."
  • And the Raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting  And the lamp-light o'er him streaming throws his shadow on the floor                 Shall be lifted- nevermore!
