  • King Midas complaints about Apollo.
  • For being such a foolish man, I shall give you donkey's ears!
  • Thank you for forgiving me...

  • Midas has donkey's ears...
  • His power turned the garden flowers into gold, which his daughter did not approve and wept. Accidentally, he touched her head and magically turned her into a golden statue.
  • You have learned your lesson, Midas. Shall you be done by!
  • Finally, he had enough of things turning to gold after every food he touched turned to gold as well. He was furious. As his punishment for being foolish of his actions, Apollo gave him a pair of donkey ears.
  • One night, a servant had heard of his secrecy and dug a hole, whispering what had happened to Midas.
  • Once Midas heard about the servant's gossip, he was about to send him to death. Then, he thought. Instead of killing the servant, he forgave him. Apollo was impressed of Midas and has given him his ears back. Especially, getting rid of his gold powers.
