  • Peasant Women Started their days at about 3am and began by making the family's breakfast, which was normally pottage.
  • After breakfast, the peasant women went out to work in the fields. They tended for animals and harvested crops.
  • Then after they tend to the crops and animals, they head back to the kitchen to prepare the day's meals.
  • Another responsibility of a woman is watching after the children.
  • The work day typically ended at dusk, and the peasants went to eat. The woman has multiple jobs including sewing, farming and watching the children. 
  • Women usually prepared dinner for the family and ate after her husband and children were finished.
