After a week passes, you're fever breaks and you decide to continue your voyage. Even though you don't feel complete.
Your fever comes backs worse than before. At breakfast you get a letter from the king's secretary asking how far you are in your expidition. Greatly behind schedule you decide to get back to work.
After failing to connect with the Belgian rubber company you start to get frustrated. It was the most crucial connection you needed for this expedition. You go back to camp and begin to catch another fever, a skin rash. The next week you catch malaria. Realizing that Africa is not for you, you return to Belgium a broken man.
