  • What do you want me to enlighten you about?
  • That is a great idea. You better get ready because you are about to learn something new.
  • How about what the Americans used during the Civil War?
  • Hey Grandpa. Can you tell us something interesting?
  • The gunsmiths made many different types of guns most commonly the pistol. The guns the North and South used were a mixture of shotguns and rifles with bayonet scabbards. The guns take a while to load and may get shot in the process.
  • In the south, all of the teen and adult slaves were forced to fight with the Southerners  to keep slavery. The North eventually won the fight, but it caused hundreds of thousands of people to die in the south and the north. They fought in multiple terrains like woodlands, marshes and mountains.
  • Arrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!
  • ATTACK!!!
  • Arrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!
  • This war mostly in the woodland areas, but some battles were in marshes, like this, and mountainous regions. About 99% of the soldiers died by bullets or scabbards, but some drowned by others.

  • ATTACK!!!
  • Arrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!
  •         The weapons usually are not found in the mountains, but on rare occasions bullets, guns, scabbard, and many other weapons. The battles that were fought up on the mountains were dangerous and a small bit frightening. I´m not sure if this happened, but it was possible for people to fall off cliffs maybe.
  • Arrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!

  • Thank you children. I enjoyed having your company during this camping trip. Now get some water and relax.
  • You said it. Grandpa, that was some interesting facts you told us last night.
  • Yawn! That was a great night sleep I had last night.
