  • Men were only allowed to vote, because they had more rights then women
  • During the 19th century two women, Susan B Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton tried to fight for slaves and to help them get rights and that went down badly
  • After that they reorganized their selves as the National Women's Suffrage Campaign
  • After all of the fights, protests, arresting of women and others who joined, it finally happened. In 1920 the 19th amendment passed and women were allowed to vote and had more rights then ever before!
