Storyboard Text

  • Shackleton explains his concerns, voicing his doubts to Worsley.
  • Worsley, it's not looking good out there.
  • I agree, Boss. It's looking progressively worse.
  • Concerned about the dogs as well as their health within the conditions to come, Shackleton brings them on board.
  • I shouldn't let these poor dogs suffer out in the harsh weather.
  • Shackleton grew more concerned throughout their expedition.
  • We have run into an issue: as the pressure grows, the worse Endurance's condition becomes.
  • Sadly, we agree, Boss. What is our next step now?
  • As Endurance becomes stuck in the ice, and the conditions worsen, Shackleton orders Worsley to inform the rest of the crew that they are boarding off the ship.
  • Worsley, we need to get off Endurance before she worsens.
  • Yes, sir, I agree. I'll inform the rest of the crew.
  • As Shackleton and the rest of his crew get off Endurance, he orders to keep items that are necessary to keep the trip lighter.
  • A span over the next two weeks...
  • Worsley, McLeod, Bakewell, Hussey... Keep what is necessary for the journey.
  • Yes, Boss.
  • As Shackleton is a few steps behind the crew, he looks back in deep sorrow at the wrecked Endurance.
  • I am saddened by what has occurred today...
