Storyboard Text

  • Caesar is greeted by a mob of people after his defeat of Pompeii. 
  • Exposition 
  • Cassius and Brutus try to overthrow Caesar to stop him from taking over.
  • Conflict
  • Many omens were given to Caesar such as his wife's dream and the soothsayer's warning but because of his arrogance Caesar did not listen so Brutus and other conspirators were able to kill Caesar "for the good of Rome".
  • Rising Action
  • A funeral is held for Caesar.Some of the conspirators speak and try to convince the people that Caesar's death is justified. Later, Mark Antony speaks to the people of Rome and tells them that Caesar's death is unnecessary.
  • Climax
  • Cassius and Brutus agree go to war at Philippi to battle Mark Antony and Octavius.
  • Falling Action
  • The conspirators ended up killing themselves because of misinterpretations, ultimately ending the war. 
  • Resolution
