This storyboard does not have a description.
The air consists of molecules and atoms. Both of which have mass. Because air has mass, it has other properties like density and pressure.
Air pressure decreases as altitude increases. As air pressure decreases, so does density
The higher you are, the greater the altitude. The lower you are, the greater the air pressure and density
~ Air Pressure is usually measured in inches of mercury. ~ The layer of the atmosphere highest to lowest are: Thermosphere, Mesosphere, Stratosphere and Troposphere. The lower the layer the lower the altitude ~The lower the density in air, the harder it is to breathe because there is less oxygen in each cubic meter of air
The 3 Properties of Air
The reason why the molecules in our atmosphere won't crush objects is because the molecules are pushing in all different directions. Since it is in all different directions, the pushing balances out.
