  • Alexander Hamilton advocated the use of the military force, but before they arrived they rebels had fled. Two men were convicted of treason and later pardoned by George Washington. 
  • The Whiskey Rebellion
  • Get him!!
  • AAHH!! RUN!
  • Thomas Jefferson opposed neutrality. Hamilton Supported it. Washington decided to sit with Hamilton and so America became neutral. 
  • Neutrality!
  • The French Revolution
  • Hamilton is right!
  • No Neutrality!
  • Hamilton was pro-British, wanted a strong central bank, larger peacetime armies, and higher tariffs. Jefferson wanted just the opposite.
